AGRICA: Climate Risk Analyses in Burkina Faso and Niger
Concept for Kick-off and data collection during Covid-19 travel restrictions
A key component of the AGRICA Climate Risk Analyses lies in the engagement of local stakeholders in the partner countries. This ensures the alignment of the study focus with local stakeholder interest and national policy goals, while also allowing a more effective dissemination of the study results.
The Kick-off Workshop for the Climate Risks Analysis in Niger intends to inform relevant stakeholders from policy, private sectors, international organizations, civil society and academia about the purpose of the study, discuss the methodology used and present and validate preliminary results from the climate impact analysis. Stakeholders are explicitly asked to provide feedback on study focus, methodology, as well as preliminary results. In a second step, stakeholders are then invited to participate in several exercises to specify and prioritize the adaptation options that the study will focus on in its analysis.
